Benintendi was placed on the IL with left Achilles tendonitis after leaving Saturday's game following his first home run since April.
Colas has been called up from Triple-A Charlotte to replace Benintendi. He had previously played one game for the White Sox this year.
In Triple-A, Colas has a .244 batting average with five homers, 21 RBI, and six stolen bases. He will now step in for Benintendi.
