White Sox outfielder Andrew Benintendi returned from the 10-day injured list after missing nine games due to left Achilles tendonitis.
Pitcher Steven Wilson has been reinstated after completing his rehab assignment with Triple-A Charlotte, having a 2.84 ERA in 19 innings this season.
Benintendi struggled at the plate, batting .195/.230/.284 with only nine walks in 51 games this season.
The White Sox made roster moves, sending outfielder Duke Ellis to Triple-A Charlotte and designating left-hander Tim Hill for assignment.
