White Sox GM sees benefit of sharing Camelback Ranch with Dodgers
Briefly

The Los Angeles Dodgers and Chicago White Sox are both based at Camelback Ranch for Spring Training, but are at drastically different points as the 2025 season approaches. The Dodgers have just secured their eighth World Series title, while the White Sox endured an MLB record 121 losses last season. Despite the apparent divide, White Sox general manager Chris Getz views their proximity to the successful Dodgers as motivational. Player connections exist due to trades, and both teams will compete during the Cactus League games this spring.
"It's a great opportunity to be matched up in a facility with a team that won the World Series, to have something to aim towards," said GM Chris Getz.
"How do we get to beat them? How can we compete? So yeah, the Dodgers have been a very successful organization."
"In addition to sharing Camelback Ranch since it opened in 2009, there are current player connections between the Dodgers and White Sox because of a trade last season."
Michael Kopech has not yet pitched this spring due to injury but is expected to again be a key member in the Dodgers bullpen.
