The Chicago White Sox have called up one of their top-rated prospects, pitcher Jonathan Cannon, from Triple-A Charlotte for his MLB debut against the Kansas City Royals.
Cannon, the No. 9 prospect in the team's system per Baseball America, has a 2.79 ERA with 11 strikeouts in 9.2 innings for Charlotte this season.
