Trade Proposal: Mets acquire (right-handed pitcher) Dylan Cease in exchange for (shortstop) Luisangel Acuña, (catcher) Kevin Parada, (right-handed pitcher) Christian Scott, and (right-handed pitcher) Raimon Gomez.
Pairing one of those top-tier prospects with 2022 first-round pick Kevin Parada would be a good starting point in negotiations, and would give the White Sox a great long-term outlook at catcher after Edgar Quero was acquired over the summer.
New York still could use another starting pitcher and landing Cease would be the perfect option depending on Chicago's asking price.
