Seth Lugo pitched seven crisp innings, allowed only four singles. 'I feel like I had most of my pitches moving in the directions I want,' he said.
The White Sox have scored the lowest total runs in the league. Manager Pedro Grifol noted, 'I just think a lot of these guys are pressing.'
White Sox became first team to be shut out six times in their first 16 games since 1907. 'We've got to make adjustments, plain and simple,' Grifol stated.
Nick Nastrini had a solid major league debut for White Sox, allowing 2 runs in 5 innings. 'For the most part I executed my game plan really well,' he said.
