The Chicago White Sox didn't enter this season with very high expectations, as oddsmaker had their season win total at 61.5 games, the third-lowest in all of baseball ahead of the Oakland Athletics (57.5) and Colorado Rockies (60.5). But they have exceeded those low expectations so far this season, going 3-18 to start the year.
That has provided an opportunity for bettors to fade the White Sox, and a $100 bettor wagering against Chicago in all 21 games this season would be up $1,209 according to VSiN's Adam Burke.
While we wouldn't advise blindly betting against the White Sox in every game, it seems pretty likely that this team will be bad for a long time.
