The Chicago White Sox continued an active week Friday by signing pitcher Chris Flexen to a one-year, $1.75 million deal, a source confirmed to the Tribune.
Earlier this week, the Sox made additions behind the plate and in the bullpen. They signed veteran catcher MartÃn Maldonado to a one-year deal Tuesday. Two days later they signed reliever Tim Hill to a one-year, $1.8 million deal.
