Meanwhile, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports that the Mets and Cubs have also shown interest in Cabrera."

Cabrera is controlled through 2028. Cabrera’s injury history includes shoulder problems in 2023–24 and a September right elbow sprain in 2025, raising UCL concerns.
