The White Sox will select the contract of veteran outfielder Rafael Ortega, who has shown a strong performance in previous seasons and the minor leagues, while opting Dominic Fletcher to Triple-A Charlotte.
Ortega, a left-handed hitter, has hit .241/.378/.431 in Triple-A Charlotte with three home runs, six stolen bases, and a 18.7% walk rate this season.
