Kyle Schwarber is returning to Philadelphia on a five-year, $150 million contract. The Pirates had offered four years and $120 million with a similar AAV, but Schwarber favored a contending team. Schwarber was non-tendered by the Cubs after a poor 2020 season. In 2020 he hit .188/.308/.393 with a .204 ISO and a 91 wRC+. Schwarber combines power and on-base ability and earned a roster spot on Team USA for the 2026 WBC.
