Rangers Sign Ty Blach To Minor League Deal
Briefly

The Rangers have signed pitcher Ty Blach to a minor league contract, adding him to their organization for the fourth time in his career. Blach, 34, has experienced ups and downs in his seven MLB seasons, debuting successfully in 2016 but struggling in the following years, particularly during his time with the Orioles. Following a season filled with injuries and a 12.00 ERA in 2019, he rebounded with a minor league agreement with the Rockies, where he returned to form before joining the Rangers.
After rehabbing in the minors with the Orioles during the 2021 season, Blach latched on with the Rockies on a minor league deal entering the 2022 campaign.
Blach's time in Baltimore did not go especially well and he finished the year with a 12.00 ERA in 27 innings of work between his two clubs.
