Now, Mike Veeck is teaming up with his son Night Train, representing the fourth generation of Veecks, to own the Joliet Slammers and other Chicago-area teams in the Frontier League.
"It's pretty crazy -- I think my dad and I were totaling it up the other month, and it was over 100 years of baseball between the four of us," said Night Train, Mike Veeck's son, highlighting the extensive history and involvement of the Veeck family in baseball.
