With a clear path to the basketball, Craig decided to add some flair to the play by throwing the ball off the backboard to himself to dunk it in. Unfortunately for Craig, a trailing Drummond thought the lob was meant for him and jumped for the ball at the same time.
Torrey Craig off the glass, MSG announcer Gus Johnson said as the play unfolded. Oh, and he missed the jam! Making the sequence even worse was the fact that on the very next Knicks possession, Drummond rolled his ankle and left the game.
