"It was awesome to see their emergence throughout the season and their more prolific role within the offense as the season goes on, just seeing their playmaking ability was dope. Luther, whenever he gets the ball it feels like a punt return like it's about to be a highlight play. He has a tremendous ability to do that. And then you go to Loveland and his catching ability all over the field."
"He's a tight end who can block with the best of them and run routes with the best of them as well. Two great guys, two great additions. Along with Kyle Monangai, who got a lot of reps and did a great job in the backfield. The rookie class did a great job for us."
"There's so many different things, skill sets that they provide, and so many different formations, motions, shifts, that Ben Johnson can play with because we have the skill set of so many different guys to get the job done. So I think that it adds lethality to our offense."
Rookies Luther Burden III, Colston Loveland, and Kyle Monangai emerged and grew into more prominent roles, contributing playmaking and depth across the offense. Burden creates explosive, highlight-caliber plays whenever he touches the ball. Loveland combines strong blocking with reliable catching and route-running across the field. Monangai earned significant reps and contributed effectively in the backfield. Those diverse skill sets enabled more formations, motions, and shifts, expanding the coordinator's play-calling toolbox. Increased personnel versatility created more mismatches and high-impact opportunities, raising the overall lethality of the offense.
