In 2025, Browning again filled in for Burrow's turf toe injury but struggled, completing 64.8% of passes for 771 yards, six touchdowns, and eight interceptions over four weeks. The Bengals acquired Joe Flacco to replace him before Week 6, leaving Browning as the third-string quarterback for the remainder of the season.
