Nahshon Wright is Going to the 2026 Pro Bowl Games
"Nahshon Wright is Pro Bowl bound! This is certainly a well-deserved trip to the Pro Bowl for Nahshon Wright. The 27-year-old corner had a career year with the Bears during the 2025-26 NFL season. He set new career highs in games played (17), starts (16), interceptions (5), total tackles (80), and tackles-for-loss (3). Wright even collected his first-ever quarterback hit, forced a pair of fumbles, and recovered three more. What a year to have a year!"
"Nahshon Wright is about to become a free agent. And while he has publicly stated he would love an extension with the Bears, I'm not sure what it would look like or how feasible it would be for Chicago to fit him in under the cap. I'm open to running it back if the price is right. However, I feel as if there will be several teams with more cap space and possibly more playing time certainty"
Nahshon Wright was added to the Pro Bowl roster as a replacement for cornerback Quinyon Mitchell. Wright expressed excitement about the selection, saying he was too excited to eat while out with his fiancée and children. Wright joins teammates Joe Thuney, Drew Dalman, and Kevin Byard III as Chicago Bears representatives at the Pro Bowl. Wright set career highs in 2025-26 with 17 games played, 16 starts, five interceptions, 80 total tackles and three tackles-for-loss, plus his first quarterback hit, two forced fumbles and three recoveries. Wright is entering free agency and has expressed interest in a Bears extension, though cap constraints could complicate a new deal.
