Ed Policy, the new president and CEO of the Green Bay Packers, is not ready to offer contract extensions to head coach Matt LaFleur and general manager Brian Gutekunst as they start the 2025 season with two years remaining on their current deals. Policy indicated that he believes NFL coaches and GMs should not enter their final contract year without security, making the upcoming season crucial. He is set to officially take over on July 25, during the team’s annual shareholders meeting.
