
"LAKE FOREST, Ill. -- Chicago Bears cornerback Jaylon Johnson will undergo surgery to repair a core muscle injury but could return at some point this season, coach Ben Johnson said Monday. The 26-year-old cornerback was placed on injured reserve over the weekend and won't be eligible to return until the Bears' Week 8 game against the Baltimore Ravens. Johnson had been dealing with a groin injury that cost him all of training camp, the preseason and Chicago's season opener against the Minnesota Vikings."
