Elijah Hoard, 23, disappeared after his father dropped him at O'Hare International Airport on Friday for a flight to France following a 10-day Chicago visit. Hoard never checked in or boarded his flight. San Antonio Spurs star Victor Wembanyama, who has a longtime close relationship with Hoard and their families, publicly appealed for help on Instagram Monday. Authorities located Hoard safe on Tuesday night using surveillance cameras in Rosemont, Illinois. Wembanyama expressed relief and gratitude to the public after learning of Hoard's discovery, noting this was his first experience with a missing person case involving someone close to him.
