The son-in-law of a couple stabbed in their home Dec. 1 in unincorporated Will County near Crete was due in court Wednesday on charges of attempted murder, as the sheriff's office described the bloody attack and fight.Michael Y. Liu, 36, of Oak Creek, Wisconsin, was taken to the Will County jail Tuesday after his release from the hospital on charges of attempted murder, home invasion, aggravated discharge of a firearm, residential burglary, aggravated domestic battery, aggravated battery and trespassing, according to the Will County sheriff's office.
