The Mariners have placed shortstop J.P. Crawford on the 10-day injured list with a right oblique strain. Infielder ' contract has been selected from Triple-A Tacoma, taking Crawford's spot on the roster.
Righty Gregory Santos transferred from the 15-day IL to the 60-day IL in a corresponding move.
Crawford revealed to Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times that he's dealing with a Grade 1 oblique strain.
