The Blackhawks have a handful of young players in Rockford on AHL contracts. Pool man Dave Bolland. They have Beanie Babies and WWE Smackdown helmets, probably, on the Hurricanes, who are probably less laughably bad than the Panthers, if only due to inertia. Shout out to Bob Hartley.
The Blackhawks are easily distinguished through the generosity of their contract offers to AHL ringers and low-rung free agents in such demand that the Hawks are required to dot the i's or else blow their shot with some guy who just got waived by the Stars.
