More than five years after his indictment on extortion charges, former Teamsters union boss John Coli Sr. is set to finally learn his fate Wednesday at an in-person sentencing hearing at Chicago's federal courthouse.Coli, 59, for years a politically connected and nationally known fixture in the Teamsters, was charged in July 2017 with shaking down Cinespace Studio President Alex Pissios, who made secret recordings of Coli threatening a union strike on set if Pissios failed to pay him $25,000 in monthly extortion money.
