The D-backs selected the contract of left-hander Logan Allen from Triple-A, bringing him back for his first MLB action since 2022. They also recalled righty Justin Martinez and made other roster moves to accommodate the changes.
Logan Allen, not to be confused with another player of the same name, has struggled in his previous big league appearances with a combined 5.89 ERA. However, he has shown promise in his recent minor league outings, posting a 3.00 ERA with solid strikeout and ground-ball numbers.
