Chicago man accused of forcing women into prostitution
Briefly

Illinois State Police said in a news release that officers arrested Heggie Carr, 46, of Chicago's South Shore neighborhood, on Wednesday. Arresting officers found four women, ages 18 to 32, at the Lombard hotel where they arrested Carr, according to the release
A motion to deny Carr pretrial release states that Carr required his victims to have an escort and not to speak to anyone while out and restricted their contact with friends and families. The motion also states that Carr allegedly provided drugs, food and weight gain pills to the women, but "withheld drugs if a woman was not being productive enough," restricted their sleep and was physically abusive.
Carr later allegedly forced the woman into prostitution with requirements that she earn $3,000 a day on weekdays and $5,000 a day on weekends. The woman told police Carr had choked her until she lost consciousness at least twice.
