Arsenal is finalizing a deal with Bologna for Riccardo Calafiori, set to undergo a medical soon, joining during the pre-season tour in the US. The deal is around €50 million, with a portion going to his former club Basel due to a sell-on fee negotiated in 2023.
Calafiori, an Italy international, can play at centre-back and left-back, having appeared in Italy's Euro 2024 group stage matches. He will be Arsenal's first summer addition, following the permanent signing of David Raya to Brentford for £30 million.
