French club Marseille are in discussions to acquire Tottenham and Denmark midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who is willing to depart for a fee of about 17m.
Hojbjerg, who joined Spurs in 2020, made 39 appearances last season but started only 10 games, as Ange Postecoglou preferred other players in midfield.
The 28-year-old is in the final year of his Tottenham contract and could leave on a free transfer in 2025 unless new terms are agreed.
Marseille, under new management, including former Brighton coach Roberto de Zerbi, has been active in the transfer market, signing Mason Greenwood and Ismael Kone, with interest in Eddie Nketiah.
