London's Public Art: Andrew Sabin's Painting and Sculpture
Briefly

Henry Moore's art was displayed in front of a building called Henry Moore Court, originally the Chelsea College of Arts site. The college relocated and the original modern block designed in the International Style was demolished in 2010. Henry Moore had sold Two Piece Reclining Figure No.1 for decoration purposes. A new artistic installation, 'Painting and Sculpture' by student Andrew Sabin, replaced Moore's sculpture at the former college site near Tate Britain.
The modern building was designed by the LCC Job Architects of Ronald Robson-Smith and Austin Winkley, and later Michael Booth.
Henry Moore offered them Two Piece Reclining Figure No.1 to decorate the front.
Henry Moore's sculpture was moved to the college's current site right next to Tate Britain.
A replacement work of art titled 'Painting and Sculpture' was commissioned by Andrew Sabin, who was also a student and teacher at the college.
