Malang Sarr signed for Ligue 1 club Lens on a free transfer after Chelsea terminated his contract early. Sarr, who previously played for Nice and had loan spells, joins Lens on a two-year deal with an option for another year.
Chalobah may also leave Chelsea as Thiago Silva has already departed, and Trevoh Chalobah was left out of the pre-season squad. Chelsea is rebuilding its defensive options with new signings and existing players like Adarabioyo, Fofana, and Disasi.
