Lauren James is one of the most well known women's footballers in the country because of her goal-scoring prowess for club and country. Currently playing for Chelsea, she scored two hat-tricks at Stamford Bridge in the 2023/24 season, contributing to the Blues' fifth consecutive Women's Super League title.
James started her youth career at Chelsea from 2010-2014, moved to Arsenal where she made her senior debut at just 16, won the League Cup, and later helped Manchester United secure promotion to the Women’s Super League by scoring 14 goals during the 2018/19 season.
Since re-joining Chelsea in 2021, a club she has supported all her life, Lauren James has clinched three WSL titles and two FA Cups, solidifying her status as a key player in women's football.
Although James received her first England call-up in 2020, it wasn’t until September 2022 that she made her official debut in a World Cup qualifier, marking an important milestone in her international career.
