Ferguson, who is also young, has endured a mixed season, scoring six goals across all competitions. While it's clear the Republic of Ireland international is still a raw talent, the ability and skill is blatantly there.
You can only assume that Ferguson's development would only speed up if he made the move to Manchester, playing with a better quality player in training on a regular basis.
My one concern here is the fact that Brighton have absolutely no reason to sell. They're not short for cash and Ferguson would cost a pretty penny. I fear the asking price may just be a little too high for United at this point.
