Chelsea is working on a deal to sign Spanish forward Samu Omorodion from Atletico Madrid to help raise funds for the purchase of Julian Alvarez from Manchester City.
The Spanish side has agreed on a deal to sign Julian Alvarez, and personal terms have been settled for about 64.4m, with additional potential add-ons of 17.1m.
Meanwhile, Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher has agreed to join Atletico for 33m. Omorodion, at 20 years old, has a successful loan spell at Alaves.
Chelsea has undertaken various signings and departures this summer, including spending around 115m on new players and letting go of several squad members.
