Chelsea Football Club has reached a deal in principle to acquire 17-year-old winger Geovany Quenda from Sporting CP for a fee around £40 million. The talented Portugal Under-21 international is expected to sign a seven-year contract with an option for an additional year. Although Quenda won't join the club until 2026, Chelsea management is confident in his versatile playing style and one-on-one skills to enhance their attacking lineup. He has notably contributed two goals and eight assists over 43 appearances for Sporting since making his debut.
