Chelsea legend Frank Lampard has expressed interest in managing Coventry City, following the departure of long-serving coach Mark Robins amidst the club's poor start this season.
Coventry owner Doug King confirmed that a significant number of applications have been received for the managerial position, including an application from Frank Lampard, as the club considers their options.
Frank Lampard, who has not held a managerial role since January 2023 after being sacked by Everton, is keen to return to football management.
Lampard began his coaching career at Derby County, leading them to the Championship play-off final in 2019, showcasing his experience in high-pressure situations.
