Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca announced that defenders Trevoh Chalobah and Benoit Badiashile would be fit for the Conference League match against FC Copenhagen. This follows a series of injuries that have plagued the team, including long-term absentees like Wesley Fofana and recent setbacks for strikers Nicolas Jackson and Marc Guiu. Maresca expressed optimism about the return of players, emphasizing the importance of upcoming matches as Chelsea aims to achieve success in both the Conference League and Premier League, reiterating a focus on winning each game ahead.
"Both ready," Maresca beamed. "Trev, fortunately not something serious. Ben is back, trained for last weeks and days."
"Wes is not in the squad but is also back," the Chelsea boss added. "Romeo started to train with us. Slowly we have players back, it's important for final rush of the season."
"From now on, all the Conference League and all the Premier League games are important, so we are going to take one by one until the end and try to win as many games as possible," Maresca insisted.
