Victor Osimhen is reportedly set to stay at Napoli after failing to agree on terms with Chelsea or Al Ahli, marking an end to his summer transfer pursuits.
Al Ahli had hoped to sign Osimhen before their transfer window closes but are now pivoting towards securing Ivan Toney from Brentford instead.
Despite Chelsea's long-standing interest and negotiations involving a swap with Romelu Lukaku, Osimhen will not be making a move to Stamford Bridge.
As Osimhen remains at Napoli, the club has added reinforcements on deadline day, acquiring Scott McTominay from Manchester United and Billy Gilmour from Brighton.
