Arsenal have reportedly made a 47 million bid for the transfer of Bologna defender Riccardo Calafiori. It might not be enough, as it could take as much as 50m to sign him.
Calafiori could offer an upgrade for Arsenal's left-back position, an area where they had issues last season. Chelsea is also interested in securing his transfer for the long term.
