A shocking incident occurred in Central Islip, Long Island, where a car crashed through a residential fence and landed in a backyard pool. The driver fled the scene amidst concerns for his well-being with the help of bystanders. Emely Bisono, the homeowner, was returning from work when she discovered the chaos. Thankfully, her children and grandmother were unharmed, but Bisono expressed her outrage over the reckless behavior and damage done, noting a similar incident in the neighborhood previously.
I'm coming back home from work, and I found this. The first thing that I thought is, 'Are my mom and my kids OK?' They are, and then, 'We will fix this.'
We had the impression that maybe they knew each other or they were maybe driving right behind him because he got in the car with them.
Unfortunately, we see this happen many times.
The backyard devastation is unacceptable, especially since a car crashed through my neighbor's fence last year as well.
