Wild dashcam footage shows moment dump truck smashes into NJ home
Briefly

Dashcam footage captured a dump truck crashing into a home in Woodbury, New Jersey, causing extensive damage and injuring a resident. The truck driver, thought to have experienced a medical episode, lost control while traveling at 50 mph. The vehicle smashed through a telephone pole and multiple lawns before wrecking into the home, prompting emergency services to respond rapidly. The resident inside was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver was trapped in the vehicle for several hours. Photos of the aftermath show the truck lodged in the house, which was subsequently demolished.
"He had no idea what happened. All he knows is he was stuck in the truck," said owner Charles Zeisloft, highlighting the driver's sudden medical episode during the crash.
"I was able to make eye contact with him through a hole where the floor and well had separated, and I was able to talk to him for about 10 minutes until the paramedics got there," said witness David Keating.
