"Tesla also says that the trucks will support Tesla's Megawatt Charging System, with the Long Range variant supporting peak charging speeds of up to 1.2 Megawatts. Both trucks will be able to charge up to 60% of their capacity in just 30 minutes. Tesla released final production specs for the Semi with two trims: Standard Range at 325 miles and Long Range at 500 miles. Both trims use three rear-axle motors and 800 kW driver power, with curb weights under 20,000 pounds (Standard) and about 23,000 pounds (Long). Efficiency is expected around 1.7 kWh per mile, implying roughly 550 kWh for Standard and 875 kWh for Long Range. Both support Tesla's Megawatt Charging System and can reach 60% charge in 30 minutes, with the Long Range supporting peak charging up to 1.2 MW. Pricing remains uncertain.
