Volvo's plug-in electric car sales increased last month by almost 53% year over year to 31,523, bringing the rechargeable car share to a new record of 47.9%.
All-electric car sales almost doubled, with over 17,000 EVs sold in April (up 94% year-over-year), representing 26% of Volvo's total volume globally.
