Valmet Automotive and Carrus Delta have established a long-term agreement for the serial production of Volvo Buses coach bodies in Finland, beginning in 2026. The partnership will integrate production processes and scale output capacity at Valmet's Uusikaupunki plant. Carrus Delta, already producing the double-decker 9700 DD, will now also manufacture single-deck coach bodies, including a future electric version. Production preparations will start immediately, with the first units expected by the end of 2026, utilizing Valmet's manufacturing and logistics capabilities.
