The Nissan Versa will now be the cheapest new car in the US, starting at $17,190, as competitors leave the under $20,000 market.
The current fourth-generation Nissan Versa will enter 2025 nearly unchanged, aside from updated LED headlights and three free oil changes, defining basic transportation.
Compared to the average transaction price of new cars, the Versa's price is less than half, and about $8,000 less than used cars.
Standard safety features on the base Versa S include automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, and rear automatic braking, enhancing its appeal to budget buyers.
