The EV3 will be the first production EV to get Kia's voice-activated AI assistant that first popped up in the Kia K4. The assistant is heavily modified to let users plan trips, find entertainment, and more, as per Kia's head of customer experience design.
Kia plans to launch the AI assistant first in Korea and later in Europe. The EV3 comes with an estimated 600km driving range based on the European WLTP system, with a long-range model having an 81.4kWh battery.
The EV3 also features a sportier 'GT-line' model, can accelerate from 0 to 100km in 7.5 seconds, and uses Hyundai's E-GMP platform. Inside, it has two 12.3-inch screens, five-inch panel for HVAC, premium streaming apps, and customizable dashboard themes.
