Plenty of faster chargers for EVs exist, but there is no guarantee they will work, making long-distance drives require extensive planning and luck.
Tesla's proprietary Superchargers are the most reliable, offering up to 200 miles of charge in 15 minutes; however, availability was limited until opening up to other EV manufacturers with the use of a charging adapter.
