The Cadillac Optiq-V is GM's first EV with built-in Tesla Supercharger support
Briefly

Cadillac has introduced the performance-focused Optiq-V, boasting 519 horsepower and a 0-60 mph time of 3.5 seconds. It will be the first GM EV with a factory-installed NACS charging port, providing direct access to Tesla's Supercharger network. This is a significant development for GM's EV charging strategy, aiming to simplify user experience. The Optiq-V also features design upgrades, including carbon fiber accents and sporty styling reminiscent of its non-performance variant, the standard Optiq, while maintaining an estimated range of 275 miles with its 85 kWh battery pack.
The Optiq-V will absolutely keep pace with the iconic CT5-V Blackwing while being GM's first electric vehicle with a native NACS charging port.
GM struggled with NACS adapters, and the Optiq-V signals the start of a more seamless, less dongle-dependent charging future for the brand's EVs.
