Tesla's first Model Y "Juniper" was built at Gigafactory Berlin, with 12,000 employees autographing it, marking a significant milestone for the plant.
The launch of the new Model Y design was relatively covert, with unclear plans for its release in markets outside Asia and the South Pacific.
Managers informed employees at Giga Berlin that they would start building the "Juniper" Model Y in-house, which was further confirmed by a report.
Despite the construction of the first Model Y, Tesla has yet to confirm production or open orders in Germany or any European market.
