Spotify will refund Car Thing owners after announcing they would brick all devices, despite initial uncertainty and lack of explicit refund guarantees in emails.
A lawsuit was filed against Spotify, claiming customers wouldn't have purchased Car Thing if they knew support would end shortly. Some users did receive refunds after providing proof of purchase.
