Rimac Technology unveiled a solid-state high-voltage battery pack developed with ProLogium and Mitsubishi Chemical Group. The liquidless pack delivers 850 kW of discharge power while reducing size and mass compared with the company's liquid-based cylindrical cells. A 100 kWh pack can recharge from 10% to 80% in approximately six and a half minutes, more than twice as fast as the cylindrical cells. The charging performance will require higher-power DC fast chargers than the increasingly common 350 kW stalls. Production deployment to high-performance electric vehicles is planned beginning in the fourth quarter of 2027, with Rimac Technology supplying the packs as a tier-one parts provider.
